Reuse is an alternative solution for reducing waste production, through which reusable packaging or other goods are reused for the same purpose for which they were designed.
- The reuse method reduces the amount of energy expended for production of these goods and saves precious raw materials, such as petroleum, water, wood, coal. Also very important is the fact that there is a reduction in the volume of waste that is disposed of, thus increasing packaging/product life and reducing the cost of waste disposal-related environmental expenditure.
- The list of reusable objects is virtually unlimited. Office furniture and supplies, including desks, tables, chairs, shelves; electronic devices, such as computers, printers, fax machines, televisions and video equipment; medical equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, household appliances, clothing, plates, paint and much more.
